manger babies

for the past few days, i've been doing my best louann voice (from king of the hill) to make john crack up. his laugh makes me feel good. i don't know why but as soon as he starts to laugh, i immediately feel like laughing, too.

our weekend was pretty jam packed. on friday night we had a family dinner over at the dunns. then saturday, oliver and susie went to get their pictures professionally taken. i have to admit i was a little disappointed because the owner of the shop we took them to made it sound like the photographer was some sort of dog whisperer but she had no skills with the beagles. when i get the package i ordered i will post the ONE good photo there was.

saturday evening, we had some people come over for a guitar hero/singstar part. SO MUCH FUN. well, until i played anyway. i really am not good but it's fun to watch how into it people get. john spilled a drink while shannon was playing and while chaos ensued, she remained calm to continue her song. it was quite impressive.

yesterday was a pretty laid back day. i had hoped to watch two movies but instead got caught up with celebrity rehab and project runway. then at 5, we watched the super bowl. the commericals were ok. there was only one that i really liked and now i can't remember which it was! dumb!

and now, it's back to work. i don't have another day off scheduled until may. surely something will come up before then!!
